XINGOLATI – THE BLENDING OF WORLDS This October as the Carnival Cruise Lines ship Paradise makes its way from Los Angeles to Ensenada, Mexico, it will be transformed into a floating music festival. Xingolati – Groove Cruise of the Pacific will combine the ship’s fabulous food and relaxing spa treatments with multiple concert venues showcasing live music from some of the country’s most dynamic bands. The entire cruise will be infused with Guy Grand Productions theatrics including performance art, character exaggerations and circus theatrics. Xingolati? What’s with the name? Xingolati (Zîng-go-läh-ti): 1. the blending of worlds. 2. symbolizes the yearning of the soul to break free from the limitations of matter/reality. 3. the action considered to be that of loosening, dissolving boundaries, expanding and distorting. 4. representing Intuition, Idealism, Self-sacrifice, Glamour and Illusion; a smiling mystery. Xingolati embodies a creative and bold spirit and encourages people to cross the line and take it to a new level. The idea for the name came from the spirit of the cruise itself – his vacation will be an adventure that will take passengers on a creative and sensual journey that is like no other. Bringing the performing arts community and the live music scene on board Xingolati connects these communities for an amazing blend of personalities and experiences. A successful event for us is a combination of creative and talented artists surrounded by a healthy community sharing their love and passion for life. Growing up in California, we were lucky to be at the heart of the live music scene. We lived in San Francisco when Burning Man grew into the black rock desert and it?s been amazing to participate in the growth of that community. Bringing these experiences together is like giving a birthday gift or a Christmas present from one community to the other. Blending these communities together at sea will be nothing short of magical.
Sustainable Waves solar power sound and staging is core part of Who is Guy Grand? What we know most about is CO2 emissions and recycling programs. We will start there to reduce our impact and educate ourselves from there. Our philosophy is getting to the center of an issue and educating ourselves, our demographic and the organizations we work with. When we have accurate information, we will work together as a team towards realistic short term and long term solutions.
